Rain, rain
rain. In the Sunshine State. Well, the oranges need rain too. But what a
lovely view to open the day with from my easy chair before breakfast.
After a
quiet morning at home we took off for the laundromat after lunch. A particularly wonderful and very special Lunch,
I must add. Blueberry pie and chocolate almond ice cream. Such meals do make rainy days a bit more
bright. We’ll eat healthy tonight.
The Cape
Canaveral Laundromat was special too, as it was thoroughly decorated for
Christmas, and offered free FRESH coffee, WIFI, and SOAP. And the prices were less than many less
special.
Next the Post
Office. Jenn mailed our package to
Merritt Island PO General Delivery last Tuesday and it wasn’t in yet on
Saturday (should arrive 2-3 days later anywhere in the US) but it’s the busiest
time of the Christmas season for mailing.
The mail was IN today.
What a joy
to receive our first Christmas Card! TY
Jenn, Chris, Tristan, Khalif & Kaream!
We have only used email for Christmas Greetings for years unless others without
email send them to us first.
These blog
posts are the only greeting cards we will send now to each and every one of you
for every season and day. So no more Christmas Emails either, unless in
response to yours.
A short
visit to the Merritt Island Library was unproductive of new reading material
for pennies, but pleasant. Ten minutes
later we were arriving at home and putting away the laundry.
Now to plan
our next week. Wherever shall we go?
Perhaps a place where kissing between you and me may
occur? We’ll see!
-Ken
